Theo Lawson

Mr. Lawson primarily practices in the areas of Corporate, Commercial, and Real Estate Law.

Mr. Lawson is a well-rounded, internationally trained lawyer from Ghana. He has more than fifteen years of international experience in a wide range of commercial matters such as contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, and corporate governance. His diverse expertise also includes personal injury law, family law, and commercial litigation.

Before joining GSD Law Group LLP, Mr. Lawson obtained his law degree in 2001 in Ghana. He worked with some of the most prestigious law firms in Ghana, where he honed his skills in commercial litigation and corporate law. Mr. Lawson was the founding partner of his firm in Ghana in 2011, where he practiced mainly in corporate law before relocating to Canada.

Mr. Lawson completed his articles with GSD Law Group LLP in 2022 and rejoined the firm in 2023. Outside of the office, Mr. Lawson enjoys spending time in nature and traveling. He is fluent in Ga and Twi.
