Madan Gakhar

Madan Gakhar practices primarily in the areas of family law, personal injury, and criminal defence. He has extensive experience appearing before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Justice. In family law and divorce matters, Madan represents clients in parenting, child support, spousal support, and property division issues. In criminal defence, he defends clients charged with assaults, impaired and dangerous driving, vandalism, and theft. He also appears in Youth Court defending young offenders. Madan is the founding and managing partner of GSD Law Group.

Prior to founding GSD Law Group in 2014, Madan articled with Mount Royal Law Office in 2012, where he gained experience in different areas of law. Due to his diligence during his articling period, he became a partner at the same firm, forming Ford Gakhar Law Office in 2013. Madan graduated from law school in 2007 and practiced in India until 2009 before migrating to Canada.

Madan is actively involved in his community, providing pro-bono legal guidance to those in need. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with his family.
