Preet Sandhu completed a Bachelors of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting, at the University of Calgary in 2014. In 2016, Ms. Sandhu obtained her Juris Doctor with second-class honours from Bond University, Faculty of Law. Also in 2016, she received her Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation of The Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
During her law school breaks, she volunteered with Pro Bono Law Alberta’s Civil Claims Duty Counsel program and the Queen’s Bench Amicus project in Calgary, Alberta. Through these programs, Ms. Sandhu assisted self-represented individuals navigate through the civil claims process for the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench. In August 2016, Preet joined GSD Law Group LLP as a volunteer student where she gained experience in areas of Real Estate and Corporate Law. In February, she began her articles and is mainly practicing in Criminal law, Family law, and Wills & Estates. Outside of the office, Ms. Sandhu enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also began an Indian henna art business with her sister in 2017.
